We believe that the local church is to be marked by a loving commitment to one another akin to a thriving family, a healthy marriage, a warm home, or functioning parts of a body.
This kind of love takes great care, intentionality, and perseverance, but when pursued produces growth and maturity. Meaningful church membership is the practical means that we use to facilitate this kind of environment. Here, formal membership is the first step forward into a community where Christians are invested in one another’s lives, committed to each other’s spiritual well-being, and moving outward on mission together.
At the Shepherd's Church we seek to make membership meaningful.

Membership Process
Our process is simple and easy for anyone to participate in
Fill out an interest form. This includes some basic information and a short summary of how you came to know Jesus.
Attend our membership class. This is an opportunity to learn more about who we are as a church, what we believe and how you best fit into our life together.
Complete membership application and meet with an Elder. This is an opportunity to connect relationally, address any unanswered questions, and review our church covenant together (Covenant found here).
Be welcomed into membership! Upon the recommendation of the interviewing Elder, The Shepherd’s Church family will joyfully and publically welcome new members into fellowship during a Sunday service!
